Why?
It started with a quick get together with some former college athletes. And by "get together" I mean one of them suckered us into a Saturday morning 5K. This crew has a couple toddlers (so does yours) and after our quick jog around campus there was a trip to the bookstore. We went in search of the perfect little sweatshirt to show their nugget pride. The only thing is after a trip to the bookstore... we left empty handed.
After our unsuccessful trip to the bookstore we bumped into out college coach who mentioned the happenings with the team and what they have planned for the future. Some of these plans involve raising contributions from outside sources.
So what happens when you add roommates looking for gear for their kids+ teams looking for funding = Future Friar Hoodie
You're giving away the profits... really?
Yes, we really are. We had the fortunate experience of playing college athletics. An experience that has provided priceless personal and professional growth. Athletes work hard and often times are under funded. This can be due to NCAA regulations, lack of awareness, timing constraints, etc. We give the profits back to help provide athletes with the best experience possible. Every little bit counts.
